Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop

If you're looking to tidy up messes quickly, a robot vacuum cleaner and mop is the way to go. The best robot vacs and mops I've tested have top-notch mapping and navigation and are able to pick up Cheerios, tangled wires and fake dog turds, without leaving them behind.

You can also schedule cleaning chores through an app and monitor their progress.

1. Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra

If you're looking for the top robot vacuum and mop combination that has cutting-edge features, take a look at the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. This top-of-the-line vacuum is fast and agile and picked up pet hair and human dander almost perfectly in our Debris Pickup Test. It comes with a sleek application interface with a mini-map of your home and buttons on the screen to allow manual control.

Another standout feature of the S8 is its ability to change its cleaning mode in accordance with dirt levels, thanks to its Dirt Detection Technology. It will wash its mopping pads more often when it comes across dust. Carpeted areas get priority for mopping using mopping pads that are damp.

The mop roller comes with a number of other smart features, including docks that connects to the plumbing system in your home to clean and wash it without you having to refill the mop. With the built-in voice assistant in the S8, you can use voice commands to specify rooms cleaning options and the ability to control granular settings using only your voice.

2. Yeedi Cube

If you're looking for a hands-free robot vacuum that can mop, the Yeedi Cube is one of the more flexible options. It's part of a plethora of robot vacuums that also feature mops however it's priced at a lower price than many of the competitors.

Like many robovacs Yeedi Cube requires a little bit of work in order to start, including creating an account on the manufacturer's app and connecting it to your WiFi network. After that, however, the robot can start vacuuming and mopping with ease.

It is important to note that the mapping process can take a while and may require a few attempts before the Yeedi Cube has an accurate view of your space. In addition, object detection can be difficult to determine It was able to get around furniture and other obstacles but was stuck on a looser tassel rug and had to turn it over to get free. But these are minor flaws, and the Yeedi Cube is still a ideal choice for those looking for an all-in-one cleaning companion.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete delivers a three-in-one home cleaning solution. Its advanced mopping uses a rotating motion that is similar to hand scrubbing. This means that floors are cleaned, not just being swept. The detachable vacuum stick is an innovative tool that can reach areas where a robot vacuum cannot.

The model is basically identical to the popular X2 Omni but with a slightly higher suction capacity of 8,700Pa and other smart features. The RGBD sensor upgrade is able to learn your home's surroundings and provide the ability to avoid obstacles in a dynamic manner. The app's smart feature allows you to modify a range of settings including AI cleanings and virtual boundaries.

The X2 Combo also has self-preparation. Both the mop and vacuum robot return to their charging base at the end of each job to clean their pads, empty the dust bins, and put the debris in bags that self-seal. This helps keep the system clean and stops allergens from circulating. And its battery lifespan is long enough to cover large areas without requiring a recharge mid-clean.

4. Eufy S1 Pro

The Eufy S1 Pro is a high-end robot vacuum and mop model that comes with impressive features at affordable prices. It has a strong 8,000 Pa suction power, a rotating brush for carpets and hard floors, and great obstacle avoidance. It also has an innovative mopping technique that uses a roller constantly spraying with water to collect dirt, and then dump it in the water tank.

Its navigation system was efficient. It avoided stairs and navigated close to walls without crashing. However, it did struggle with finely engrained debris and was not always able to clear raised room thresholds. The operating noise level is also quite high, so it may be less of a "set-and-forget" model than some.

The S1 Pro, like most robotic vacuums, has a a docking system that allows it to refill its clean water, empty the dust bin, dry and wash the mop, as well as empty its mop pad. This makes maintenance simple and allows the S1 Pro to spend more time cleaning floors on an ongoing basis. You can manage all of its functions using the Eufy app. It provides a clear overview and plenty of options for configuration.

5. Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum/mower is among the top mowers and vacuums available on the market. It delivers impressive results in mopping and vacuuming. Its LIDAR mapping sensor is able to recognize furniture legs and other obstacles with decent precision, and the app lets users fine-tune map coverage, create zones that are not allowed to enter, and set cleaning preferences. The Freo's roller brush is specifically designed to prevent hair from wrapping itself around it. This is an issue with a lot of robotic vacuums.

The Mop Mode also impresses, with Reuleaux triangular mop heads spinning at 180 RPM and apply up to 12N downward pressure. The mopping system also incorporates smart carpet detection, lifting the pads up when they're in proximity to soft surfaces, preventing them from contaminating them.

The docking station that is all-in-one functions as a hands-free maintenance center which is capable of automatically drying and washing the mops, and refilling them with detergent and water. The base station also features integrated dust processing that compacts dust for seven weeks of maintenance-free operation, unlike conventional robot vacuums that empty their bins of dust every time they have to be cleaned.

6. S10

A few hundred dollars cheaper than the S8 This robot does an excellent job at keeping my home office clean and can also tackle the corners of my tiny apartment. It uses laser mapping and a camera to create a map of your home, so it knows which areas to avoid. It also has a detector for objects and obstructions that can block things like toys and dog bowls (but not poop), unlike many vacuums.

Other great features include a self emptying dustbin and a mop that is self-washing, adjustable for water temperature and a side-reaching brush that can reach areas that other mops miss. You can also set cleaning schedules in the app and set custom the settings for each room of your home.

It comes with the same multi-room smart mapping as the S8 and is able to distinguish between laminate and carpets, with high-pile carpets. It can also skip mopping rooms that are not clean if you want to save time. It's a great option if you have a mix of flooring in your home but aren't looking to spend the extra money for a Roborock with advanced mapping features.

7. Q5 Pro

This robot is a great option when you're looking for a versatile robot that can handle regular maintenance on a daily basis and touch-ups to messy water stains.  robot vacuum cleaner best  comes with a variety of features, including a self-emptying dustbin, an additional water refill dock, and adjustable settings in the app. It's surprisingly quiet and easily moves around furniture legs or socks. However, it can't remove tangled rug tassels, and its battery drains a little faster than other models we tested in our tests.

With a price tag of less than $250, the Q5 Pro is a bargain-friendly powerhouse that packs serious suction and useful automation into a slick design. It didn't perform as well in our vacuuming and mopping tests like the pricier Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra however it performed very well overall. It also comes with a selection of cleaning options to suit your needs, from the low-power 'Quiet' mode for lightweight debris to the more powerful 'Turbo' mode for carpeted rooms. It even has the ability to automatically remove and replace its mop pads, without getting your carpets wet.

8. K10 Plus

The K10 Plus is an excellent robot mop and vacuum that can be used in smaller spaces. It is very silent and fast and it is able to navigate tight spaces well. It's also extremely effective in removing pet hair from carpets.

It's smaller than many of its competitors, but doesn't sacrifice any features. It has a decent amount of suction power and it can be configured to take photos of any object it picks up (i.e., chew toys, socks, etc.)) and mark them as 'not found in the app to ensure that they don't get picked up during future cleanings. The photos are secure, and not tied to you account.

It's great at vacuuming, but not so well at mopping. It makes use of disposable wipes that clip onto the bot's bottom and drags them across your floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and Narwhal, which come with water reservoirs that automatically wash and reattach their mopheads.
